Mayor
Head of Town Council. The Mayor also serves as a Regional Councillor on Halton Regional Council.
Town Councillor
Represents the ward’s residents on Milton Town Council. Each ward elects one.
Regional Councillor
Represents the ward’s residents at both Milton Town Council and Halton Regional Council. Each ward elects one.
Halton Regional Council
The Regional Municipality of Halton is made up of The City of Burlington, Town of Halton Hills, Town of Milton and Town of Oakville. Eligible voters in these communities elect individuals to sit on their local councils, and some of these local councillors also sit on Halton Regional Council.
5 of its 24 members (2023-2026 term) are Milton council members: Gordon A. Krantz (Mayor), Colin Best (Regional Councillor, Ward 1), Rick Malboeuf (Regional Councillor, Ward 2), Sammy Ijaz (Regional Councillor, Ward 3) and Sameera Ali (Regional Councillor, Ward 4).
Halton Regional Chair for the 2023-2026 term: Gary Carr. Following the adoption of the Better Regional Governance Act, 2026, the Halton Regional Chair is now a Provincially appointed position and will not appear on the ballot.
