How this database works
Each facility comes from an official list: the Town of Milton’s open-data layers where they name the facility, otherwise the city’s own facility pages or the library’s branch list, read with the name and street address as published. A type a layer does not carry (a pool or arena inside a recreation centre) is added only when the facility’s own official page states it. Facilities sharing a street address become one site. A site’s map position is the official layer’s point, or else an exact match of its address in the city’s address-point layer; with neither, it is listed without a dot.
What the sources do not hold is not here: hours, fees, programs, accessibility features and capacity. The official pages carry those and are linked from every site.
