Exceptions, holding and other markers

The markers the layer records on RLD4 polygons. Their terms are written only in the by-law; each line says where.

Site-specific exception (19 polygons)
307 (×10), 302 (×9)Section 2.6 says a star and a number after a zone symbol (such as *17) refers to a site-specific exception listed in Section 13.

What the zone permits

The permitted uses and regulations for RLD4 are set out in Section 6 of Comprehensive Zoning By-law 016-2014 (HUSP Urban Area), March 2026 consolidation (PDF). MiltonIQ does not paraphrase them: an exception, a holding provision or a later amendment can change what applies to one lot. The Town of Milton’s Certificate of Occupancy (Zoning) is the Town of Milton’s own answer for a property. The interactive zoning map shows the zone on a single lot.
